This type of appointment is geared towards learning the mechanisms behind how genes impact health and how to manage this with supplements, diet, and lifestyle. The MY DNA Nutrigenomics Counseling Appointment includes the following:

  1. You will receive an explanation of specific genes found in the MY DNA report and how they impact health.
  2. You will then get an explanation of how those genes may be managed with supplements, diet, and lifestyle.

Please read the full description provided below prior to booking your appointment. Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled, if needed, up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. No rescheduling or refunds will be permitted within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

This type of appointment is geared towards learning the mechanisms behind how genes impact health and how to manage this with supplements, diet, and lifestyle.

Appointment Length: 60 Minutes (via Google Meet)

This 60-minute appointment is scheduled with one of our geneticists. You will also receive documentation that includes what was covered in your appointment for future reference.

The Nutrigenomic Counseling appointment will include the following:

  1. You will receive an explanation of specific genes found in the MY DNA report and how they impact health.
  2. You will then get an explanation of how those genes may be managed with supplements, diet, and lifestyle.

Please select the option of discussing common high impact genes such as APOE, COMT, CYP, SLC, MTHFR, GST, HLA, and IL, or of choosing other genes you would like to discuss during your appointment. A maximum of 8 genes total can be discussed during a 60-minute appointment. If you choose the option to discuss genes of your choice during your appointment, we will contact you prior to the appointment to gather this information.

Should you choose to specify which genes you’d like to cover and fewer than 8 genes are specified, any remaining time during the appointment will be spent discussing genes from the common high impact genes list provided above.

  • I understand that in order to offer equal scheduling opportunity, these appointments are intended to be limited to one of each appointment type (one Practice Building appointment and one Nutrigenomic Counseling appointment).
  • I understand that if I have provided a list of genes I would like to discuss and fewer than 8 genes have been provided above, genes from our high impact list will be covered for the remaining appointment time.
  • I understand that this appointment is not intended to be used as medical advice or to prevent, diagnose, treat, or cure any condition or disease state.
  • I understand that this appointment will be conducted via Google Meet. If I choose to call in to the appointment instead of using the provided Google Meet appointment link, I understand that I will not be able to follow along with the visual elements of the appointment.
